Holly Boyd
BIO
Born and raised in Australia, I fell in love with words at a young age. By 16, I was a published poet. Writing was always my passion, but life had other plans for a while.
Cue the obligatory legal career. I moved to London, hustled, and climbed. I did what was expected (and I did it well) until I finally realized the price—my health, mind, and spirit. It's not an exaggeration to say it sucked the life from me.
I went searching for some answers and found them on a kayaking expedition down the Burro Burro River in the remote jungles of Guyana. So, I made the leap. I retired as a lawyer, rediscovered my creativity, and traded gray skies for sunshine and salt. First stop—Mexico.
Sassy!

For four amazing years, I was a researcher and writer for the award-winning true crime podcast Casefile. It was a fantastic experience with a brilliant team and dedicated listeners, but eventually, it was time for me to spread my wings again.
My first book, Taylor Swift: Role Model by Reputation, was an absolute joy to create.
Writing about Taylor was food for my soul— uplifting and inspiring.
These days, you’ll find me in Central America with my sassy little Pitbull, Saskia, doing my best to be a good human being. My days are filled with writing, running, and surfing— finding that remote life balance.
I have plans for more projects: new books, blogs, online courses, YouTube channels, and more! Who knows...Maybe all this can help you find your own version.
